Mariachi’s Authentic Mexican: K Dub's Place Grand Opening Edition

Aloha, Kenny Wilson here. I'm announcing the Grand Opening of something I call K Dub's Place. This basically takes place wherever I happen to be presenting music or any other creative project that happens to come along in the future. Right now the physical location is the Back Room at Mariachi's in Downtown Kapaa. I've been playing my solo routine in the main dining/bar area for a few weeks now, from 5:30-7:30pm, Wednesday thru Sunday. But I'm getting ready to produce shows back in the cool room they have in the back.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wXZ8veKLJ4 On Saturday, July 8th, We'll be having the GRAND OPENING OF K DUB'S PLACE, FEATURING MYSELF AND WHAT IS COLLECTIVELY KNOWN AS "THE PUBLIC NUISANCE." For the uninitiated, this group is composed of CONRAD MATHEWS, PANCHO GRAHAM AND KIRBY KEOUGH. Between the four of us, we've been in a zillion bands on Kauai, such as OU-812 (pre Van Halen), The Generators, Rockit 88, Oceana, The Skanksters, The Wanderers, The Zentones and KW's History of Rock & Roll, The Shakers, Kaui and The Haole Boys, Kenny and the Comets, Taj Mahal's Hula Blues Band and many more. I haven't done a full show with these guys in a long, long time and am really looking forward to it.
This show on July 8th will be a Rock & Roll Dance Fest that will run from 6:30-8:30pm, with reserved seating beginning at 5:30, and food and beverage service available throughout the whole thing. It'll be $10 a head (Hey, we've gotta pay the security guys) and only 50 souls will be allowed to enter the gates. If you'd like to reserve seats, or a table, or would like any other info, send an e-mail to kenny@kdubsplace.com If this particular show is not your thing, we'll be having many others to come, some being rock & roll, some being acoustic, some being Hawaiian music, some being.....whatever. And some shows may have cover charges of various amounts, some may be free admission, some may be......whatever.
