Longhair Productions presents Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Legend and Music Icon Leon Russell who will be returning for a four Island tour of The Hawaiian Islands. Just off his 10-date tour with Elton John on the debut of their wonderful Album “The Union” on Decca, beginning with an evening at the Beacon Theater in NYC and finishing with a Grammy Nomination for Leon and Sir Elton. Leon is ready bring his mystical magic to his fans in Hawaii for this four island tour. Leon was inducted into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame on June 16, 2011. Leon was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 14, 2011. Leon is the magic and inspiration behind such music greats as Joe Cocker with Delaney & Bonnie on the famous “Mad Dogs and Englishmen Tour” in 1970 introducing the big hit, which Leon wrote for Joe Cocker, “Delta Lady”. Leon Russell the juice behind current country heroes, like Mark Chestnut and Clint Black, he “totally blew Nashville away” when he came out with the “Hank Wilson's Back” releases in the mid 70’s revitalizing the sweet memories of Country music legend Hank Williams. Leon Russell, one of the innovator/leaders of the music scene in the late 60’s - 80’s was considered to be “the top live performer in the world in 1973” by Billboard Magazine.
